Looking back on 2025, the year has been a melodious song and a steadfast journey. We forged ahead amid challenges and seized opportunities to scale new heights, with every step filled with strength. As we look to the new year, we will continue to march forward with the spirit of striving and be our best selves!

Toast Address by the Chairman of Shouxin

We feel the warmth of mutual support in laughter and toasts, and affirm our path forward
through listening and reflection.

The significance of the annual meeting lies not only in joyous laughter and toasts but more in forging a common belief and charting the course ahead. This year, we set aside grand narratives and returned to an original consensus: "Be your best self, and let goodness unfold naturally."
Simple as it sounds, this sentence is powerful. It discourages impatience and urges us to uphold our duties, maintaining our own rhythm amid uncertainty. When everyone takes solid steps in the right direction and devotes themselves to every responsibility and passion, time will nurture unexpected gains, and the team will converge to shine like a beacon.
Centered on this year's theme, Shouxin launched an essay contest, and the first prize-winning article was selected for its profound interpretation of how "being your best self" takes root in daily work. Please join us in appreciating this piece and exploring the author's inner journey:

With a R&D Mindset, Uphold the Path of Self-Cultivation
I used to be impatient for results, always fixated on the outcome of my work. Whenever I failed to meet expectations, I would feel anxious and unsettled. It was not until I participated in the PAM R&D project, working day in and day out with experimental data and formula adjustments, that I gradually realized: Life is like developing a qualified PAM product — there is no need to force the result. Instead, we should focus on taking each step in the present earnestly. Do what you ought to do well, and goodness will come unexpectedly.
When I first joined the R&D team, my mind was filled with the desire to achieve results quickly and deliver a formula ready for production as soon as possible. I was eager to check the data after each experiment, and whenever the results were unsatisfactory, I couldn't help but feel frustrated, even doubting my operational ability. Every day in the laboratory, I repeated the tedious work of proportioning, synthesizing, and testing. There were several times when the adjusted formulas still failed to meet expectations. Staring at a pile of messy data, I even thought about giving up. But on second thought, since I had chosen this job, I should do it well and not shrink back because of temporary setbacks. I calmed myself down, compared past experimental records, identified issues one by one, and even took the initiative to consult a large amount of literature and seek advice from experienced colleagues. Slowly, I gained a deeper understanding of PAM's characteristics, became more proficient in operations, and the experimental data began to stabilize and improve.
During the PAM R&D process, I also learned that "being your best self" does not mean being stubborn, but continuously improving yourself while adhering to principles. When I first started in R&D, I only followed fixed procedures and was at a loss when encountering problems. Later, I realized that to excel in R&D, one cannot stick to rigid routines but must take the initiative to learn and accumulate experience. I used my spare time to learn new R&D technologies, keep abreast of industry trends, and gradually broaden my knowledge horizon. When facing unfamiliar problems, I actively consulted colleagues and absorbed experience through communication. Over time, I not only improved my R&D capabilities but also learned team collaboration, understanding how to play my role in the team and work with everyone toward the same goal.
In fact, this applies to all aspects of life. We often chase external recognition and rush for desired results. To cater to others or achieve goals, we even hesitate to change ourselves, yet often end up with unintended consequences. Just as some people blindly follow trends and abandon their original aspirations in pursuit of fame and fortune, they not only fail to get what they want but also lose themselves. On the contrary, those who focus on self-cultivation and silently accumulate strength can harvest unexpected goodness through the polishing of time.
Like PAM R&D — it will not speed up its reaction because of our eagerness, nor will it yield ideal data because of our anxiety. It only recognizes precise operations and rigorous steps every time. Life is the same: Goodness is never forced. Instead, it unfolds naturally after we do our best in everything, accumulating and precipitating step by step. Being your best self is not about passive waiting, but about active accumulation — delving deep into your field and enhancing your abilities. It means not being swayed by the impetuosity of the outside world, upholding your original aspiration, and moving forward steadily. It means learning to accept imperfection, growing through setbacks, and gaining through persistence.
Now, I am no longer impatient or anxious. At work, I still carefully conduct every experiment, focus on every detail of PAM R&D, and continuously optimize formulas and improve product quality. In life, I calm down to do things I love, such as exercising and accompanying my family, gradually accumulating strength. I know that as long as I keep being my best self, live up to every moment, and never perfunctorily treat every trivial matter, the goodness I desire will eventually come naturally, just like a qualified PAM product, at the right time.
Every step in life counts. There is no need to envy others' glory, nor to be anxious about your own ordinariness. Focus on being your best self, do every small thing solidly, pay attention to every detail, and silently accumulate strength. Trust that time will not let down hard work. When we are excellent and steady enough, all goodness will arrive as scheduled and unfold naturally.

Time moves forward, and we move upward. Focus on the task at hand with a calm heart, and walk alongside fellow travelers with composure. In 2026, we will continue to move forward hand in hand, uphold the original intention of fulfilling our duties, take every moment seriously, be our best selves, and let goodness unfold naturally.
