Nonionic Polyacrylamide
Nonionic Polyacrylamide
Overview
Nonionic Polyacrylamide (N-series) products contain a certain amount of polar groups in their molecular chains, which can adsorb suspended solid particles in water and form large flocs between particles. It accelerates the settlement of particles in suspensions, with significant effects on accelerating solution clarification and promoting sedimentation. Nonionic polyacrylamide is widely used in chemical industrial wastewater treatment and mineral processing, particularly suitable when the wastewater is weakly acidic.
Specification
Appearance | Solid content (%) | Molecular weight (M) | Hydrolysis degree (%) | Dissolution time (min) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
White powder | ≥88 | 5-13 | 0-5 | 60-90 |
Advantages
Compact flocs, low dosage requirements.
High level of water clarification after process.
Wide applicable pH range (2-14).
Excellent mud-water separation, good water filtration, and low moisture content in treated sludge.
Application Fields
Sewage flocculation and sedimentation
Sludge dewatering
Construction mud treatment
River dredging
Mineral processing production
Storage and Precautions
The product is non-toxic, water-soluble, and may cake if moistened.
In case of hands or skin contact, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water.
Store in a dry place at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C.
The prepared liquid polyacrylamide solution should not be stored for extended periods. Storage beyond 24 hours may reduce its efficacy.
It is recommended to use low-hardness water with a neutral pH (6-9) to dissolve polyacrylamide. Using groundwater or reclaimed water will result in reduced product effectiveness.
